never in my life did i put loads of make up on my face. only today, that i started doing it, because i had a make up workshop that i had to attend at 8.30am to 12.30noon! 4 freakish hours of learning about body shop and the how to apply make up on my face.
yes, body shop! all their products are amazing...when i sat at the table with 2 of my classmates, i saw loads of them. from liquid eyeliner, to concealer, to mascara..to lip liner, lip gloss any many many more. we got door gifts! and brushes! miniature ones..but at least they are from bodyshop! HAHHA! damn cool!
as soon as the hands on started, i was so excited!! our make up stylist, Na'emah was super great! she's funn and bubbly. she gave us all good tips! i just adore her! she's very good! since we are already people who knew how to apply make up..she said, we are already experts and she just have to chill and let us have funn with the make up...HAHHA! it was cool! seriously!
i used 4 colours on my eyes for the eye shadows! super nice...a mixture of white as the base, gold, dark brown and more white...I WAS GOING FOR THE BEYONCE' LOOK! HAHHA! since when did i get that tan? HAHHA! since the outing to sentosa of course..HAHA..but it's okay..i got good tips.
some girls wrote down notes for whatever! HAHA! you don't have to actually know the steps to put on make up..if you're a girl, if should come naturally..HAHAH! naturally. it just did for me. when i first started putting on make up at the age of...i don't know..umm.. 16 or 17? that late, because, i don't want to look old. i heard from people that, when we put on make too much, we tend to look older..well, i just heard it from my mum! HAHAH! some people she is to me...HAHA!
anyways, the founder of body shop, ANITA RODDICK , is just a great person..OKAY..was...she passed away in 2007..if i'm not wrong. she implies on community trait for her company with people in South Africa, that's where the manula oil, which is in the make up products comes from. she created jobs for people there, so that they can afford education and for other stuff.
body shop also emphasizes on saving the earth, against hiv-aids...and beauty of course. super good. mind blasting stuff...
after all that, maybe one day, i want to buy their make up products. for school or anything..maybe..it's just too expensive for me. if i can get a stable job woth first kick, maybe, then i can afford. $30 per session or hour till then! woohoo!
till then, shaabooya!
