what i learn from a view of an assistant coach, it's not easy to be a coach. takes alot to be heard and respected. when you have alot of kids to handle, it's even harder. today, as usual, i helped assist arif with the previous kids we handled on thursday. 43 in total. the largest group of all.
very hard to make them listen to us, but they did better though. their performance was really good, quite impress with them.
eventhough we were initially kind of reluctant to coach them, but in the end, we just gave it another shot and it was alright. not that bad overall.
i still remembered about the christmas carnival that RPWST did the last December. it was fun. the first time i really did coaching.
however, now i am working under FIRST KICK ACADEMY coaching, as assistant coach. usually work during the weekends. it's just that now, we are doing a primary school project, coaching primary 3 and 4 kids at a school in jurong, corperation primary. i kind of find it great. with the kids. they really can be devils.but they are kids. kids are kids.
my weekends are full now. saturdays are off bounds for outings and other stuff. so, friends, be aware! sorry. i'm working now.
next next week, arif said he wants me to takeover as coach, try it out. i was like,"umm...no!i don't know. maybe i can try?"HAHAHAHA! coach the 43 kids? i want to give it a try. see if i can get their attention. HHAHA! i think i'm going to buy a real metal whistle for myself. :)
for now, since i'm already working, i want to save up, to go to Bangkok! anyone want to follow? or that trip to Cambodia or Bali with soccer girls? umm...see how. i need to concentrate in saving now. i want to get away from Singapore.breathe new air!
for now, i want to log off. i am going to have a busy day tomorrow! going for a triathalon: running, playing soccer and swimming!!! woohoo! crazy day tomorrow! hee!
shaabooya!:))
